To give a bit more context about the change, soc.jae.fi was created more than four years ago using Misskey. Over the years, it migrated first to Calkey, FireFish, a few others in between, to then end up on Sharkey.
While Sharkey development is still active, it's clearly slowing down, with the last release being about a month ago and being a security patch (see activitypub.software/TransFem-org/Sharkey/-/releases).
This instance is now running Iceshrimp.NET, which I had in my visor for quite a while, given I work a lot with .NET daily. So far so good, works fairly great with an easy configuration. It's also finally swapping everything to the j4.lc domain, which I needed to do anyway.
In any case, hopefully I won't lose too many people from this migration, only about 50 people out of the original 423 made it over automatically, which isn't a good ratio, but eh, good enough for me.
