@decoy that's an interesting reaction, from the outside, Japan has that reputation of having stronger intellectual property laws, which in my mind directly clashes with AI being even in use.
But again, I don't have many insights into Japanese law or culture, I'm probably missing a lot of information.

Others did that before, Valve could. Saying "oh they wouldn't" is just purely delusional, they're a company at the end, their goal is profit, not some divine mission to improve humanity.
